TVS Apache ENGINE

TVS Apache RTR 160 and TVS Apache RTR 160 Fi is powered by the same cc and four stroke engine. The only difference is fuel injection technology. Moreover the power figures increased smartly in FI version from 15.4 Ps to 15.92 Ps at 8500 rpm. On the contrary, torque figures remains the same that is 13.1 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine capacity of the Apache 160 bikes is 159.7cc.

TVS Apache RTR 180 is powered by a four stroke, single cylinder engine with a displacement of 177.4cc. The powerful mill develops a maximum power of 17.3 bhp at 8500 rpm while the maximum torque is 15.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. The comes in self and kick start option. For better colling, big airscoops are incorporated at the fuel tank. TVS claims the new Apache RTR 180 to reach 60kmph from standstill in 4.15 seconds and top speed as 125kph.
